Regional Finalists

The teams who have qualified for the regional finals of the ifs Student Investor Challenge are listed below. The teams are listed in alphabetical order by team name.

Regional finals – the results

The regional finals are now complete! The top two teams from each regional final then went through to the national final – you can see who won here.

The top two teams for the South East England region were:

1. "InvEast" from The Leys School
2. "The Invisible Hand" from City of London School for Boys

...and the top two teams for South West England and South Wales were:

1. "Surplus Value" from Pate's Grammar School
2. "Tenacity" from King Edward VI School Southampton

From the Scotland, Northern Ireland and North England region we had:

1. "The Fresh Princes of Bel Share" from Ormskirk School
2. "Mort G Man" from John Leggott Sixth Form College

...and from North Wales and the English Midlands:

1. "Stock Brigade" from Calday Grange Grammar School
2. "Kesonomics" from King Edward's School, Birmingham

The regional finalists were selected by taking the top twenty student teams that are eligible for prizes from each region (with a maximum of 1 team per school). To this we added the winners of our wildcard draw for each region.
